Its not something I could change, even if I wanted to
you know there nothing I wouldn't do, to prove to you
and if I had to walk for miles, minutes, hours, days
well what could i say, I wouldn't have it any other way
When the lights all fade
and nothing will remain
though we haven't seized the day
nothing will stay the same
Well I want it all, cant just have a little bit
Im blasting off, time for another hit
and I wont be back, back here again
not for a little while, till I need another friend.
And Ive a few more things to say to you, before my time heres done
you've caused me so much heartache, drunk and on the run
with my back against the wall, nowhere left to go
I'm sleeping in a bottle, with no place to call home
When the lights all fade
and nothing will remain
though we havent seized the day
nothing will stay the same
Well we've built up these bad habits
now we cant let them go
am I looking overtired
is this partying starting to show
When the lights all fade
and nothing will remain
though we havent seized the day
nothing will stay the same

Empty Bottle Express

A new page, a fresh start
full glass and an empty heart
when all the booze is gone and the drugs are all done
looks like we all gotta move on
Well I'm not really sure where I'm gonna go
but I gotta move fast to make the nine o'clock show
dont forget to stop at the bank
grab some cash for a little bag of crank
the line is long when I get to the bar
so we go do some rips in my buddys car
when I finally make it in I'll say
hold the juice and gimme some gin
drink it down yea with a big grin
jump back in the pit and start going again
I'm not too sure how to grow up
just know how to fill my cup
I dont want to ever stop
ride this bottle right to the top
when the ride is feeling slow
we'll grab some beers and get fuckin stoned
cause we ain't got no better place to go
New page, old friend
full glass gets dumped on my head
all the booze is gone and the drugs are all done
looks like I'm going home on my own
but when I get there I wont feel down
I'll give a shout to that new guy in town
he said he's got X, coke, and speed
hey man, thats just what I need
here's the cash, now let's sniff it up fast
I dont know how much more long I can last
melting away, body decay,
just like the snow in spring I'm gone away
I dont want to ever stop
ride this bottle right to the top
when the ride is feeling slow
we'll grab some beers and get fuckin stoned
cause we ain't got no better place to go
When everydays the same, you've got to get away
when everydays the same, you got to make some change
I dont want to ever stop
ride this bottle right to the top
when the ride is feeling slow
we'll grab some beers and get fuckin stoned
cause we ain't got no better place
we ain't got no better place
we ain't got any place at all

The Working Class

He wakes up at 6am tired and groggy from the night before, rather stay in bed a little longer, or just a few minutes more. It's another day, another dollar type of lifestyle that we learn. Another day underpaid, feeling like it's time to crash and burn.
And it's enough to drive anybody crazy, it's enough to drive anyone insane.
He's had it he's so fucking frustrated. About his fucked up, pointless, no-win situation.
Tough times ahead, seeing red, thoughts of days past in his head as he stops to as himself: "is it even worth it?"
She wakes up early enough, time to get ready for the morning shift, it's cold as fuck, but she sucks it up as best as she can take it. It's another day, another pay "I'll make it work, it'll be okay." Struggling to make a living wage. And it's enough to drive anybody crazy, it's enough to drive anyone insane.
She's had it she can't take it anymore. Her body is so terribly worn. No hope today or tommorow things get better before they get worse.
It's a vicious cycle.
It's a fucking curse.
We've had it we're so fucking frustrated. With this nonsense about being so complacent. It's a fucked up game of chutes and ladders, always on the losing side.
"Get in line?"
"I'd rather die."

Something Different

I could hear you from a million miles away
screaming something 'bout how I've changed
well look at you, you're not the same
and I could hear you in the middle of the night
screaming that it just ain't right
Well I can;t hear you anymore
you broken record, I'm out the door
and I'm not coming back
Well if this is all it's gonna be,
then I want something different for you and me
cause I am losing the ability
to give a fuck right now
I just need to be alone
sort through this mess in my head all ON MY OWN
Well I remember the days we had
time we wasted and the dreams we had
well not all the times were bad, but looking back
I am still happy that your gone
and you left me out with the rest
with a heart sized hole in my chest
Well I thought I was gonna die, but now I truly feel alive
Well if this is all it's gonna be,
then I want something different for you and me
cause I am losing the ability
to give a fuck right now
I just need to be alone
sort through this mess in my head all ON MY OWN

This is a battle of attrtiton, Last man standing wins. History repeats itself, this is where it all begins.
We're willing and able to fight against this new insurgence. You're gonna fucking regret repealing health insurance.
There's no more disguise.
We can see it in your eyes.
Hiding in plain sight.
No more fucking lies.
To all you neo-nazi fucks and all of you alt-right pieces of shit: Your golden god is bound to fail and the rest of you with him.
To every homophobic prick and every racist son of a bitch, you want to start another war? We'll fucking end it.
See through the guise of your lies.
To help and aid the victimized.
As we set our sights.
(This has) Been coming for a long time.
So for every frightened family and every ostracized minority we'll take these bastards down, in a blaze of glory.
So let's set our sights.
It's been coming for a long time.
